**"Yahan Sey Shehar Ko Dekho"**
This film is a layered exploration of Karachi’s socioeconomic dynamics, viewed through a socialist lens. It delves into the complexities of neoliberalism, offering an immersive audio-visual journey that challenges the audience to confront the city’s multifaceted realities. Drawing on the concept of "neoliberal imperialism," introduced by my collaborator Saif Ali (@gly_ch), the narrative critiques the belief that individual freedoms are inherently tied to market liberties.
As a culmination of my four years at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, this project weaves together advanced shot variations and techniques I’ve honed over time. It stands as a thoughtful reflection on modern social and economic challenges, framed through the lens of Karachi’s unique character.
